Rivet Ready helps you prepare for the FAA Aviation Mechanic (A&P) knowledge tests. It includes the General and Airframe question banks with study mode, practice, timed mock exams and review of your mistakes, in English and Spanish. Powerplant is coming in a later update.
Frequently asked questions
How do the mock exams work?
They follow the published FAA format: General has 60 questions and Airframe has 100, each with 2 hours and 70% to pass. The split by subject area is our own approximation of the official test.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Everything works without an internet connection. There is no account, no ads and no tracking.
How do I switch the language?
Open Settings → Language and choose English, Español or Device language.
How do I reset my progress?
Go to Settings → Reset progress and confirm. This deletes answers, review boxes, bookmarks and mock exam history, and cannot be undone.
I found a wrong question or answer. How do I report it?
Thank you! Email jorgeealdunate@gmail.com with the question ID shown in the app (for example AMA-S01) and a short note on what looks wrong, ideally citing the FAA handbook page.
Do I need to restore a purchase?
No. Rivet Ready is a one-time App Store download with no in-app purchases. If you delete it or get a new iPhone, it downloads again free with the same Apple Account. Note that progress is stored only on the device.
Is this an official FAA app?
No. Rivet Ready is an independent study aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or any testing provider. Question content is based on FAA publications, which are public-domain works of the U.S. Government. Always study the current FAA handbooks and regulations.
